The Relationship Between Hamstring Length and Pelvic Inclination

35.00

The pelvis is an important structure to understand for the manual therapist. Positioning of the pelvis can affect structures above and below. Structural distortions such as pelvic obliquity, anterior and posterior inclination, and unilateral flexion can have detrimental effects on the low back, knees, and spine. Without understanding the role of the pelvis massage therapists may find it difficult to alleviate common problems like chronic low back pain, sacroiliac joint dysfunction and more. We hope that the therapist who reads the study will gain greater insight into the relationship and also the process of massage research.
