Thoracic pain is a very common reason people seek soft tissue therapy. There are many possible causes of pain in the thoracic area, many of them respond very well to precise manual treatment. The difference betweeen success and failure is quite often the skill level of the therapist. Our goal is to help you attain the skill level needed to effectively problem solve your way through commonly presented pain syndromes of the mid-back.

This seminar is designed to be a "hands on" experience and the style of therapy relevant to everyday practice; you can utilize the techniques taught in class immediately. At the same time, it will sharpen your anatomy skills and assist you in understanding spinal mechanics. We will address clinical applications, review the functional applications that soft tissue plays in back pain, and address common clinical concerns.

This training is meant to teach you to see, touch, and understand the truly magnificent role that is the complex series of muscles we call "the back". At the end of the training, you will never see the spine in the same way.

* The Erector Spinae group
* The Oblique Muscles
* The Serratus Muscles
* The Diaphragm
* The Levator Costorum
* The Rectus Abdominus
* Intercostal Muscles
