Precision Neuromuscular Therapy
PNMT Leg and Foot Seminar
(Lower Extremity Part #2)

This seminar is essentially the second half of the Lower Extremity seminar. In it, the participant will first explore pain conditions of the knee. There are many soft-tissue conditions that create medial and lateral knee pain, all of them related to different muscles and ligaments. Some of the soft-tissue symptoms overlap with more serious intra-joint ligamentous issues. Participants will learn how to make good judgments as to the source of the pain and how to address it effectively.

In the lower leg, conditions affecting the anterior and posterior shin splints, calf pain, and pain syndromes of the feet (such as plantar fasciitis) will be explored. The participant will leave with clear clinical reasoning skills to determine the source of a client’s pain and the technical skills to positively affect that pain.

The answer to the postcard quiz is a trigger point in the rectus femoris muscle. These trigger points refer pain to the patellar area and also have a history of nocturnal pain.
