James Ivaska has a love for research that can be applied to the daily lives of massage therapists. James has received his Master's degree doing both qualitative and quantitative research in the Kinesiology department at the University of Illinois. His research background has collided with his passion for massage therapy at PNMT. He is a licensed massage therapist and certified precision neuromuscular therapist who takes the PNMT evidence based approach to heart.
James believes that massage therapy research can and should be done by massage therapists. His job at PNMT is to demystify research for PNMT students and walk them through the process of creating and carrying out a research project.
