If you have taken both one day sections (the Hip and the Legs and Feet), the Lower Extremity class is $225. A Vital Role The vital role of the hip in healthy movement is often overlooked. Hip immobility is often mistaken for other problems. In this section of the lower extremity class, our focus is on assessment and treatment of the hip and the muscles that affect it.This class is essentially the first half of the Lower Extremity seminar. We will look at such issues such as: - SI Joint problems
- Restrictions in hip flexibility
- Hamstring strains
- Quadricep pain
- Adductor strain
- ITB tightness
Just Imagine Here are some real-life scenarios that therapists face every day. PNMT gives you the problem solving skills to make solid decisions with speed and accuracy. • Your client presents with a pain in the groin, complaining that this slowly developed and must be an adductor strain. In three quick movements, you decide that the pain isn’t adductors, but possibly much more serious, sending her to the doctor. Her doctor calls and is amazed you caught this so quickly. • Your client presents with pain down the leg in a classic sciatic pattern. With two quick tests, you recreate the pain with your pressure and discern that this is simply a referral pattern. Symptoms disappear and your client is very, very happy! This seminar is 80% hands-on and filled with useful techniques you will use the very next day! A Great Investment in Your Practice We believe that learning should translate to earning; continuing education should increase your income and bring more joy to your work. The confidence and clarity you will attain will boost your practice and re-inspire you about the power of manual therapy. The confidence we refer to is not bravado; we are very clear about both the power and the limitations of PNMT. PNMT does not seek to replace other modalities in your practice. In fact, the understanding you gain in PNMT will help you know when to choose appropriately.
